Passports & Travel Documentation
We can notarise and certify all your travel documentation, including:
Passports
When you apply for a bank account or buying or selling a property overseas, you may be asked to provide a passport which is recognised as a true copy of the original.
We can certify a passport as a true copy of the original on your behalf. You will need to provide the passport to be copied, along with proof of identity/address (such as a utility bill or bank statement dated within the past three months) so that we can provide you with the certified copy.
Consent To Travel for a Minor
A notarised travel consent document may be required for a child to travel with just one of their parents, with other relatives, friends or even unaccompanied. This has become an increasingly regular requirement from different government authorities as they look for ways to prevent cases of child abduction. Depending on where the document is to be used, the notary’s certification may need to be complemented with an Apostille issued by the Foreign Office or even with a consular legalisation.
At Marc White & Co we can offer advice for every stage of this process and, in most cases, provide you with this notarised consent following a brief formal interview.
