Memorandum & Articles of Association
Memorandum of Association’ is a legal statement signed by all initial shareholders agreeing to form a company. The Articles of Association’ are the written rules about running the company agreed by the shareholders, directors and the company secretary. When doing business internationally, an overseas lawyer, notary or company registry will often require a notarised copy of an English company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association currently recorded at Companies House. We can help you to source this information and then formally verify the authenticity of the documents.
Certificates of Good Standing
A Certificate of Good Standing is used to prove that a company is incorporated and authorised to undertake business. The certificate is issued by UK Companies House and can also be used to confirm information on directors, shareholders, registered office address, insolvency proceedings and previous names. We can notarise a copy of these documents for an overseas lawyer, notary or company registry which may require them.
Companies House Documentation
When doing business internationally, often the requests for formal documentation from the destination country will be confusing or ask for documents which don’t exist in the UK. We will liaise with overseas lawyers and business representatives on your behalf to ensure all the documentation you supply about your company is fully notarised and meets their legal requirements.

In recent years the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) has toughened its stance on immigration through its introduction of the Points Based System (PBS). Annual limits have also now been imposed on non-EEA and Swiss economic migration. We can assist and advise your business on your workplace immigration needs and offer advice on a number of aspects under the PBS such as Tier 1 Entrepreneur or Graduate Entrepreneur visas for people who wish to set up or run a business in the UK; or the Tier 2 General Visa for skilled workers coming to the UK to take up employment.
