I am a Trainee Solicitor working closely with the Anglo/Spanish law department as well as assisting my fellow colleagues in Will Writing, Probate, along with Family Law. I also have prior experience working in the conveyancing department for Lucas Law Solicitors in Cardiff during my first year of my training contract. I decided to transfer the remainder of my training contract over to Marc White & Co with the ambition of advising clientele in cross border Anglo/Spanish Law as a qualified solicitor in the years to come.
During my training, I have assisted solicitors in providing advice to clients in relation to conveyancing transactions (property sales, purchases and transfers of equity) as well as cross boarder Anglo/Spanish matters such as Spanish Powers of Attorney, NIE applications and the selling/purchasing of properties in Spain. I work hard to ensure there is consistent communication to our clients, keeping them informed and providing updates as frequently as possible to ensure that they understand their individual matters in totality. I always aim to ensure that our services are efficient and are dealt with at a high standard.
I completed my undergraduate bachelor’s degree in History and Spanish LLB, graduating with a 2:1, where I then decided to pursue a legal career. I went onto complete my Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and subsequently my Legal Practise Course (LPC), graduating with a 2:1 in 2023. Whilst studying for my Legal Practice Course (LPC) I began working as a Paralegal for Lucas Law Solicitors. Following the completion of my Legal Practise Course, I then began my training contract specialising in conveyancing, wills and probate. Prior to university, I lived in Barcelona, Sant Cugat de Vallés, for one year working as a teaching assistant at an international school teaching English to local children. It was during this time that I developed a strong passion for the Spanish language and left Barcelona at the end of 2018 fluent in Spanish.
